兵頭佐和子 PROFILE ｜ プロフィール
5歳よりクラシックピアノを始める。武蔵野音大ピアノ科卒、東京学芸大大学院修了。
大学在学中にジャズの生演奏に触れて感銘を受ける。それをきっかけにジャズに熱中し、NYにてブルース・バース氏にジャズピアノを師事。NYのライブハウスにて数々の有名ミュージシャンとのセッションを経験する。
大学院卒業後、プロとして演奏活動を開始。現在、都内を中心に、リーダーバンドライブを精力的に実施中。その他、アーティストへの楽曲提供、ジャンルを超越した音楽の編曲なども行っている。
2008年7月には初のリーダー アルバム”Brand New Melody”をリリース、2009年8月にライブアルバム”Lustrous Heart Live”をリリース。オリジナルソングへの評価が高く、2011年6月3rdアルバム”My Wish”をリリース。6月14日に六本木スイートベイジルにて行われた発売記念ライブ、リリース・ツアーを大盛況のうちに終える。
収録曲「Nostalgic Night」は、国際作曲コンテスト”2011John Lennon Songwriting ContestⅠ“ジャズ部門でファイナル・ベスト4(準グランプリ)を日本人で初めて受賞、さらに世界最大級のアメリカの国際作曲賞〈International Song Writing Competition 2011〉のジャズ部門で応募者数16,000人の中から、セミファイナル受賞。(yahooニュース http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20120302-00000004-cdj-musi )
2011年舞台「夏の終わりに」の音楽を担当し、劇伴作曲家としても注目されている。
Sawako Hyodo is a pianist and composer for original Jazz and modern music. Her music essence with mellifluous and crystalline melody heals people's stark realities.
She was born in Tokyo, Japan. When she was 5 years old, she started to play a piano by inspiring her mother's "For Elise". Then she continued to studying a classical music from the age to her music university in Tokyo.
But suddenlly she was awakened and deeply impressed by seeing Jazz live session when she was in the university in Tokyo.
That was how it all started her enthusiastic pianist life for Jazz music. Soon after this impact, she traveled bout in order to acquire greater skill in Jazz to New York. She studied under BRUCE BARTH.
In 2008, she released her debut album "Brand New Melody". It was her heart's desire one for long time. This album was contained 4 standard cover songs and 7 original songs.
Her original song "Teardrops" is one of her masterpiece it's expressing her wistful feeling in the hard time with her heart was torn but foster and believe in it for her new positive life coming.
In 2009, her live recording album "Lustrous Heart Live" was released from the air where packed in exceeded a seats capacity in the live club in Tokyo. It's contained with her 9 original songs alone. In this heartfelt live recording, She had showed her unique talent in her original songs in this album.
On Jun 17th, 2011, her newest album "My Wish" was released in Japan. This is contained a deverce range of songs as "SAKURA" . "SAKURA"is showing by promotional music video on Youtube now and other 11 dramatic original songs are packaged in all together. "SAKURA" is a piece of her music style and feeling with the beauty as well as wistful faset it's scene of cherry blossoms have fallen on to the ground. Also contained song "CONSOLATION" is made for her friend’s lost of most loved one. Wishing to heal stark reality of her best friend to overcome.
She is won to the finalist of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest 2011
session 1 in the JAZZ genre by her original song "Nostalgic Night" at this
time. Also, she was composing and recording her original song to the
theatrical musical " Natsu no Owarini" which was showing at "Sasazuka Factory
theater" in Tokyo for 5 days from August 31st through September 4th,2011.
兵頭佐和子 MUSIC HISTORY ｜ 音楽経歴
【幼稚園時代】
母が弾いていた「エリーゼの為に」に憧れて、母からピアノを習う。合格するとシールがもらえるので、シール欲しさに練習していたような・・・。
【小学校時代】
小学校入学後、ピアノ教室とバレエ教室を見学に行った末、バレエの方が楽しそうだったのでバレエ教室に通う。小学2年生の時、母のレッスンも限界！ということでバレエをやめて、カワイ音楽教室に通い始める。グレード、コンクールにおわれる日々。小学四年生の時、カワイ音楽コンクールで関東地区優勝。
【中学時代】
カワイ音楽教室をやめ、音大受験専門の先生の元で受験勉強をはじめる。遊び誘惑されつつも、ソルフェージュ・ピアノのレッスンに通う。ピアノと自分について悩んでいた十代。
【高校時代】
都立青山高校入学。体育祭の応援団・文化祭等行事に率先して参加。文化祭では、クラス対抗のミュージカルの主役をやったりしていました。楽しい高校生活を送りつつピアノの練習に励む。武蔵野音大教授に師事。
【大学時代】
武蔵野音大入学。ガネフ氏に２台ピアノを師事。友人と2台ピアノのコンクール、コンサートに出演。3年生の時、ライブハウスで初めてジャズの生演奏に触れて、衝撃を受ける。以来、ジャズに興味を持ち始める。
【大学卒業後】
東京学芸大大学院入学。ジャズに憧れて、家の近所のジャズのライブハウスでウエイトレスとしてバイトを始める。バイト先で、プロのミュージシャンの演奏に接し、アドバイスを受けて独学でジャズを勉強し、ジャムセッションに行くなどしてジャズに没頭する。1年後位から、殆ど弾けないながらも、ライブ活動を始める。大学院修了後プロとして演奏活動を開始。
